Project overview

CompleteAcreage home

Two hectares of acreage, with a level building platform cut into it and the pool set on axis with the rear pavilion. A putting green follows the fall of the land beyond the pool fence, and an existing firepit terrace sits in the trees past that.

The alfresco runs the width of the rear elevation under one continuous roof, with stone-clad piers and a raked ceiling, so the 650m² of floor area and the lawn read as a single room in good weather. Inside there is a games room, a playroom and a bar alongside the main living.

The build

Built for the whole block

Two hectares at Annangrove, where the house, the cabana and the pool were planned as one place rather than a building and then a backyard.

On site

Set on axis with the pavilion

The pool and pool house belong to this renovation. The fire bowl and terracing beyond the fence line came before it.
